The First Visit

As a medical doctor specialized in Human Reproduction, at this point I create a complete medical record of both members of the couple. Generally, in this first interview I talk with the couple asking them about how long they have been trying to bet pregnant, frequency of sexual relationships, family history of congenital diseases, etc. In the case of the female partner, the data to be collected are in the first place those related to her menstrual periods and pelvic pains. Her history of infections, surgeries and past pregnancies will also be thoroughly analyzed.
In the case of the male partner, we will inquire about his history of traumatisms in the genital area, infections, surgeries and habits. I perform a clinical examination and prescribe a series of tests to find out the causes of infertility.
